Facilitate infrastructure investment and service solutions. This is the main contribution to the economic and social development of Brazil by CCR, the largest private infrastructure concession group in Brazil and one of the seven most significant in the world, and also listed on the Novo Mercado (New Market) of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA).

The CCR Group is responsible for administrating 1,571 kilometers of the Nation’s highway system under concession, in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Paraná, with the management handled by the Ponte, NovaDutra, ViaLagos, RodoNorte, AutoBAn and ViaOeste concessionaires, and the most recent, RodoAnel Concessionaire, which is responsible for the administration of the western section of the Mário Covas Beltway. CCR also has 40% of the capital of the Renovias concessionaire and a 38,52% participation on STP Group , company that operates electronic and automatic toll collection in Brazil.
Besides its involvement in the highway concession area, the company’s growth strategy includes diversifying its portfolio. In November 2006, CCR signed the first PPP contract in Brazil, with the State of São Paulo, for Line 4 of the São Paulo Metro, that will be operated and maintained by ViaQuatro, which has four international partners and is led by the company. The line connects the south end of the city with downtown, and should serve one million people.
Another important step for CCR’s qualified growth was taken last year. In August, the company concluded the acquisition of 45% of the capital of the Controlar concessionaire, which is responsible for all of the environmental vehicular inspections for the city of São Paulo.
New market pioneer
The capital market has always been a part of the platform for the growth and consolidation of the company, like foreign companies with the same profile. In February 2002, CCR joined BOVESPA’s Novo Mercado (New Market), debuting in the Stock Exchange’s most demanding segment. Today, CCR ranks among the Nation’s companies that win the most awards and are recognized by the capital market, because it constantly follows the best practices of corporate governance.
In order to stay on this list, the holding company’s transparency with investors is also one of the premises of the business and its growth policy, whose objective is to expand and diversity the network of highways administrated by its concessionaires. In this context, in 2004, the company joined the Dom Cabral Foundation to promote knowledge and the development of corporate governance, by creating the CCR Corporate Governance Group, whose objective is to produce and disseminate knowledge about the subject. The partnership with the Foundation was renewed, in 2007, by creating the CCR Infrastructure and Logistics Group, whose objective is to develop projects, research, case studies and other actions, in order to consolidate the studies on the business in Brazil.
