The western section of the Mário Covas Rodoanel, administrated by CCR RodoAnel, pass through seven cities and across four highways of the CCR Group: Raposo Tavares, Castello Branco, Anhangüera and Bandeirantes. Approximately 240,000 vehicles take the highway every day.
The CCR RodoAnel concessionaire has pais the State of São Paulo a granting fee of R$ 2 billion and the first construction work of an investment schedule that totals R$ 465 million.
Construction of the service roads, pedestrian overpasses, and improved paving and means of access are some of the work to be carried out on the western section of the Rodoanel. In a short period of time, the highway will also get a modern communication and control system, with the installation of radar, weigh stations, radio-telephones, emergency telephones, electronic message panels, fog detectors, weather station, and closed-circuit traffic cameras.
