In 2008, CCR acquired 40% of the capital of the Renovias concessionaire. The highways currently administrated by the company totalize 345.6 kilometers, connecting the city of Campinas with southern Minas Gerais.
With 220.5 kilometers of double lane and 125.1 kilometers of two-way highway (one lane in each direction), the highway system interfaces with 15 municipalities: Campinas, Jaguariúna, Santo Antônio de Posse, Mogi Mirim, Mogi Guaçu, Estiva Gerbi, Aguaí, Casa Branca, Mococa, Espírito Santo do Pinhal, São João da Boa Vista, Águas da Prata, Vargem Grande do Sul, Itobi, and São José do Rio Pardo.
The contract for the Renovias concession was signed in April 1998 and its operations are expected to finish in June 2022. Since June 2008, the concessionaire’s capital has been divided in the following proportions: 60% of the common and preferential shares by Encalso and 40% of the common and preferential shares by CCR.
